Melt Filter K-SWE / LK-SWE

Screen Changers for continuous operation

k_swe The operating mode of the screen changers K-SWE/LK-SWE for continuous operation (without an interruption of the melt flow) is based on the well-proven principle of two screen bearing pistons.

During production, the plastic melt is divided into two flow channels inside the screen changer housing, then conveyed through the two filters equipped with the appropriate filter medium. This filter medium consists of screen packs in conjunction with the breaker plates.

Applications for the Screen Changer K-SWE

for processes with most different throughput capacities (laboratory applications up to large polymerisation lines)
for compounding, semi-finished production, recycling, manufacturing of fibres, polymerisation, film extrusion
