The KREYENBORG pump control PumpCon ECONOMY is the compact solution for retrofitting an extrusion pump into an existing plant. In short, the control system is able to control and regulate the gear pump as well as the single screw extruder. The signal exchange between the PumpCon ECONOMY and the extruder is managed via potential free contacts. The software control logic ensures a proper control and stabilization of the melt pressure.
The PumpCon ECONOMY is a control unit consisting of a frequency converter (FC), the control software which is located on the device, and a 24V DC power supply for generating the control voltage for the FC.
The whole unit is completely wired and built into a control cabinet.
